August 29, 2011. That was the last time the Tooth Fairy was here. Just a couple of weeks ago. You’d think she’d be on top of her game now, but no.
The tooth was lost on Sunday. She didn’t come Sunday night OR Monday night. C was fine with her not coming on Sunday because it’s a well-known fact (in our home, anyway) that the TF doesn’t work on Sundays. Or Saturdays. (The kids can never remember, and I think she takes advantage of this fact.) But she didn’t come Monday night, either. Apparently she was about to complete the transaction when I came to wake C up 15 minutes early on Tuesday morning. He had early-morning band. Why didn’t she come in the middle of the night? She finally came last night and couldn’t even leave C what he requested.
“Help me. Insted of money give me metacognition and sleep. C”
Our tooth fairy really sucks.

I wanna live in YOUR house! The tooth fairy never left me notes. When I was way younger, the quarters were good. Now that I’m “way older,” the notes, baby. Give. Me. The. Notes.
LOL, Kathy! I can’t take credit for the note thing. My kids want to know things about the Tooth Fairy, so they started writing her little notes. I’ve started taking pictures of the notes, because I’m not always sure where the notes end up and I want to save them.
