Hubs left yesterday for a 5-day business trip. This usually means that weird(er) stuff (than normal) is going to happen here in his absence.
This morning between the hours of 9 and 10, I’ve cleaned up a tinkle-soaked preschooler whose diaper came off inside her footie PJs, the aforementioned PJs, a poo in the tub from the now-clean kid, a tinkle-soaked rug (thanks to our new dog), and some chicken juice stalagmites.
The back of our fridge gets really cold, so as the nasty chicken juice dripped down from the shelf above the pizza box, it formed these lovely lumps. Thankfully, it missed the pizza box, but I had to dismantle the bottom shelf to get all of the disease-juice cleaned up.
While I was doing this, Kid #4 was sitting at the kitchen table watching Ruby boss Max around and eating a snack.
Yes, she took a bite out of each cookie.
And Hubs hasn’t even been gone 24 hours yet.

She was making sure she had them all claimed before the big 3 got home. Smart girl.
Sorry about the poo in the tub though, that’s always nasty.
Is it bad that I haven’t cleaned up the tub yet? I got the offending thing out, but there were still oodles of bubbles left from the bubble bath and I didn’t want to mess with them.
Those chicken juice formations look crazy! Gross! Glad you were able to clean them up. Also I am really amused by Baby Tay’s eating of the cookies… Maybe she thought you wouldn’t notice if she only took one bite.
Pepper and K were both marking their territory. One was just a little easier to clean. I think your laundry basket has a sticker problem.
And thank you for the Gray Cat sighting!
Sticker problem – ha! That’s Kid #2′s muck tub. Each kid has one. We use them when picking up “public rooms” and after folding laundry. Hers has the most stickers, though. My mom suggested that’s where they could put all those stickers they got from doctor/dentist visits, and then they just got carried away with stickers. Better than my walls.
