This blog is where I talk about writing, faith, mothering, and anything else that strikes my fancy. Most of it is my attempt to find humor in life, because if we can’t laugh about stuff that goes on around us, what’s the point?
I’m a writer. I’ve got a few projects in process, but my Big One is a memoir of the six months we lived in England with 3 kids under the age of 5. That was a good time. Really. It rocked.
I’m married – Hubs and I have been hitched 16+ years. We met in college. He’s crazy smart – nuclear engineering Phd. I have a history degree and teaching certification, but if I could go do it all over again, I might skip college. But don’t tell my kids, because I want them to go to college. Speaking of the barbarians, I have 4 ranging in age from 11 to 2. One boy and 3 girls. Lots of itty bitty diva drama here feeding my need for material for the blog.
We live in a tiny town in the mountains of New Mexico. It’s a one-company kind of place. Almost everyone here works for the scientific lab. Except me. I blog and write. And do laundry. Do you know how much laundry six people generate?
Oh, and occasionally our cat brings in not-quite-dead things to eat in my bedroom in the middle of the night. That’s just nasty.
